American: The Bill Hicks Story

So, here's a long-awaited documentary on one of the most revered comedians of all time.  It's been 3 years in production and focuses on the man himself with interviews from his friends and families.

A unique animation style is used to illustrate the story of Hick's climb from childhood, to the comedy circuit, to his death and ultimately to his to legendary status.  Unseen footage is also including in this and from the reviews from festival screenings are pointing to this to be a great documentary on the man.

The film is set to be released this summer and should be well worth the watch
